This past year has been a crazy one for college football in the Pac-12. With all teams with the exception of Washington State and Oregon State set to head to different conferences starting next year, it was thought that some of the rivalries that have been such a big part of the conference would die out as well including the biggest one for us here in Washington, the Apple Cup.
This week's Apple Cup will mark the 115th meeting between the University of Washington and Washington State University and thanks to a new agreement, even though the Huskies will be joining Oregon in their move to the Big 10 Conference next year, the schools announced the rivalry game will continue at least for the next 5 years!
