Bail is set at $50,000 for an Ocean Shores man arrested for raping a 14-year-old that he met online. Police say 34-year-old Shea Connor McDaniel met the teen on a dating site in Onalaska in 2023. The Lewis County sheriff’s office investigation found McDaniel lied on the site, saying he was only 16. He only revealed his real age later in phone calls. The victim wrote a letter to her parents detailing what happened, which is what got the sheriff’s department involved.
