Aberdeen City Council Gives River & State Streets Homeless 30 Days To Vacate

A recent U.S. Supreme Court decision has made it so cities can cite homeless people for camping in public spaces. Now, the Aberdeen City Council agreed unanimously to give the homeless populations who reside on River and State streets 30 days to vacate. The Daily World reports the city council wanted to give the homeless the 30-day grace period instead of making them vacate now. The homeless people would have had to vacate as of Tuesday.
