The Aberdeen Mayor apologizing after a social media post suggested the Attempted Assassination of former President Trump was staged. Mayor Douglas Orr, who recently won that title in a narrow election with only a 4-vote margin, posted on his personal Facebook page this weekend that read in part, “The shooter is dead so we will never know if it was staged.” Orr posted that on Saturday night and later deleted it. In an Interview with KOMO News out of Seattle, the Aberdeen mayor said Trumps wound looked like something out of a professional wrestling match. Orr also made a written apology in which he said he’s not proud of his first reaction.
