The City of Montesano is looking to hire a forest manager. The right person would be able to manage
5,500 acres of forest within the city as well as assist Aberdeen and Hoquiam with managing another
8,800 acres. The forest manager would be responsible for everything from timber sales, tree planting
and road and trail construction and maintenance. The position reports directly to the mayor and works
closely with city council. The forest manager pay range is between $90,000 and $100,000 per year and
would include health, dental, vacation and retirements plans. Applications can be picked up at the
Montesano City Hall and must be turned in by October 28th .
