The city of Raymond will get a portion of $5 million in grant funds from the Connecting Housing to
Infrastructure Program to help with the cost of low-income housing. In this third round of funding, just
over $117,000 will be used to help connect 30 affordable housing units to water and sewer in town.
These funds can help both owners and renters. $41 million of CHIP funds have helped connect over
4,000 housing units in 17 Washington Counties to water and sewer in the last year.
