Commissioners Decided To Extend Moratorium On Marijuana Production Another Six Months

The goal or this, according to county leaders, is to get staff input on changes to the county code concerning marijuana. 

This week Grays Harbor County Commissioners unanimously decided to extend a moratorium on new marijuana production or processing facilities for another six months.  The goal or this, according to county leaders, is to get staff input on changes to the county code concerning marijuana.  A public building code advisory council meeting is set for today and a public hearing is set for June 7tth with the Planning Commission to look at possible regulations on land use.  The moratorium was first put into place back in November of 2020 and has been extended every six months since then.
