Cops nab a suspected package thief after a short chase. Cowlitz Safety Feed says Sunday evening around 7:30pm a vehicle suspected in a package theft was spotted near the 1700 Block of Ocean Beach Highway in Longview. When the suspect ran, officers performed a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle in. By 7:35 p.m., the suspect had been taken into custody and is facing charges of theft and eluding police.
