Elected as the president for the 92nd Washington FFA State Convention.
A congratulations is going out to a recent Elma High School Graduate for a history making accomplishment. Even before Samuel Gillis graduated this past weekend from Elma high school, he was elected as the president for the 92nd Washington FFA State Convention. The event that took place this past May marked the first time ever that a student from Grays Harbor was elected president of the Future Farmers of America. Since being elected president, Gillis has decided to put off his commitment to Washington State University to fulful hi year long FFA duties. The Washington FFA Association is comprised of more than 10,000 members in 250 chapters across the state.
