A pilot program should get underway this month for the new Secure Automated Firearms E-Check system. FFLs in Grays Harbor and Pacific County are being told they need to register for the new background check system in Washington State. FFLs will be receiving a letter from the state in the next few weeks describing the process. If all goes well with the testing period, a soft launch of the system will be sometime in July. All FFLs in the state will be required to go to the new background check system by the start of next year.
