The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Department says an unusual gas station skimming device was found at Central Park 7-11 over the weekend. The skimming device, which can steal credit or debit card information at gas pumps, was found inside the gas pump and had been in place for at least 2 weeks. Most of these illegal devices are placed over the card readers at gas pumps and are often discovered by customers who notice loose pieces around the card reader. If you used the gas pumps at the central park 7-11 between January 5th and 19th and you notice suspicious charges on your account, contact the sheriff’s office on their non-emergency number.
