Deputies learned 44-year-old William Snavely has traveled from Pierce County to meet the underage girl and that he had traveled to Grays Harbor before to meet up with two other children.
The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Department says deputies arrested a suspected child rapist who was in town over the weekend. Authorities say they received a call from parents about their missing young teenage daughter about 2am Sunday. Deputies quickly learned the girl had left her cell phone behind and was going to meet up with a man she met online. Deputies learned 44-year-old William Snavely has traveled from Pierce County to meet the underaged girl and that he had traveled to Grays Harbor before to meet up with two other children. Snavely was arrested on kidnapping and rape charges. The missing teen girl was later found walking on a road near her home.
