The Ocean Shores Police Department has released details about homeless encampments that were cleared out recently. Those staying on site were given notice on November 14th they need to leave. At that time, an Ocean Shores PD press release says those individuals were offered assistance, but they declined. One-week later city personnel came back and told those who remained at the dunes they had to leave the area. More than 50 cubic yards of garbage was collected at the site. The press release sent a special thank you to the Ocean Shores Fire department and public works department.
