A call about a woman passed out in a vehicle uncovers thousands of dollars in fraudulent checks. Aberdeen Police say on January 27th a call came in of a woman passed out in a car at the Liberty Gas Station. When officers arrived they say the woman admitted there was fentanyl in the vehicle and connected to a search of the car. Police found what appeared to be the deadly drug, along with what looked to be stolen credit cards and passports. The woman was arrested and upon further inspection of the vehicle, police found the car had the wrong license plate and more than $24,000 kin were found in stolen checks were recovered. The 33-year-old woman was booked into jail on multiple charges.
