Tax increases to help fund fire, EMS, Police and schools all seem to be passing in Grays Harbor and Pacific counties. After the first round of ballot counting following Tuesday’s primary. Voters in Elma are approving the levy to partially fund the police department. The North Beach Technology improvement levy is winning with 53 percent support. The EMS levy for Fire district 2 is passing with more than 71 percent of voters saying yes and the South Beach Regional Fire Authority levy for maintenance and operations is passing with more than 62 percent support. Just under 20 percent of registered voters in Grays Harbor returned their mail in ballots.
