Washington Gas Prices Breaking Records

This after the European union threatened to cut off all Russian oil.

Washington gas prices are not only surging again, but they’re breaking record. Triple-a has the statewide average now at $4.77 per gallon, up 8 cents from last week and also a new record high price for gasoline in the state.  That new record is also $1.27 more than this same week in 2021.  The price of gas is back up in Grays Harbor, averaging $4.82 per gallon and even higher in Pacific County where it’s averaging $4.96 today.  The biggest culprit in the latest spike is rising crude oil prices, which are surging again, to $110 per barrel at the start of trading today.  This after the European union threatened to cut off all Russian oil.
