Aberdeen Police Respond To Assault Call At Safeway

Victim Punched In Safeway. Suspect Resists Arrest

Aberdeen police respond to an assault call at Safeway.  Grays Harbor Scanner reports that around 5:45pm Monday evening a call came in with the victim saying that a random man walked up to them and punched them in the face inside the store.   The suspect then ran away on foot.  When officers arrived, they were able to track the suspect down.  He resisted arrest but was taken into custody.  More details about this incident could be released later today.
