Attempted Theft At Satsop Post Office

The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break in and theft at the Satsop Post Office this weekend.

The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break in and theft at the Satsop Post Office this weekend. Deputies received a call early Sunday morning about a vehicle dragging a safe down the road. When deputies responded they were able to trace the drag marks back to the Satsop Post office which had been broken into and a safe stolen. The safe was recovered on Monte-Elma Road just east of East Satsop Road. Detectives would like anyone in the area to check home surveillance cameras for suspicious activity between 330am and 4am Sunday.
