Grays Harbor 9-1-1 is celebrating National Public Safety Telecommunicators week this week. The week is dedicated to professionals who answer emergency calls, dispatch first responders and provide critical support. Call stats for the month of March shows Gray Harbor 9-1-1 answered a total of 9,864 calls for service. 3,950 of those were wireless calls while over 200 calls came in from landlines. Dispatchers can also receive 9-1-1 text messages and in March they answered 16 of those calls.
