HFD Sends Help To Snake River Fire in Eastern Washington

Two brush trucks with firefighters and medics from Grays Harbor were mobilized.

The Hoquiam Fire Department says local personnel and equipment has been mobilized to help fight a wildfire along the Snake River in Eastern Washington. The Whitman County Sheriff's Office says the fire has burned approximately three-thousand acres. Two brush trucks with firefighters and medics from Grays Harbor were mobilized with the Central Region Strike Team number 1 Thursday and are on their way to the Long Hollow Fire that officials say was likely caused by a lightning strike.
