Over $100,000 has been raised so far through grants, along with community organizations and individual donations.

The Hoquiam School District says they are starting on phase two of the Grizzlies Sports Complex this month.  The facility at the Hoquiam High School Baseball field began as an 8-month project to be used for baseball, fastpitch, cheerleading, golf, athletic training and more.  Over $100,000 has been raised so far through grants, along with community organizations and individual donations.  In phase two, the district hops to add restrooms, a new equipment area and a covered area for spectators and athletes.  If you would like to volunteer to help with the build, donate money or help in any other way contact Steve Jump at (360) 580-7100.
