North Shore Levy Project In Grays Harbor Put On Hold Due To Bid Protest

There are reports that Rognlin’s of Aberdeen brought in the bid protest “at the last minute”.

The first phase of the North Shore Levy project in Grays Harbor is being put on hold due to a bid protest. The Daily World reports Rognlin’s of Aberdeen brought in the bid protest “at the last minute”.  Aberdeen city leaders say they already had plans to recommend awarding the bid to Quigg Brothers Inc.  Originally, both companies submitted bids on the same day and the Quigg Bros. bid was 3.5 percent less than the Rognlin’s bid.  It was recommended that the city hold off on awarding the bid for the Fry Creek Pump Station project until the bid protest can go through proper legal steps.  This is the second time there has been a bid protest for this project.
