Marijuana sales have not only dropped in Grays Harbor and Pacific County, but pot revenue was down for all of Washington this year. Data just released by the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board show that for fiscal year 2023, statewide there was $1.25 billion in pot sales, that’s down from almost $1.4 billion in 2022. Combined, Pacific County and Grays Harbor contributed just over $20 million in sales this year, with Grays Harbor bringing in roughly 80 percent of that. Tax revenue from cannabis sales goes to varies statewide programs with a portion going back into the general fund.
