A call about a possible shooting in Aberdeen this past weekend turned out to be fireworks.

A call about a possible shooting in Aberdeen this past weekend turned out to be fireworks. A call came in Saturday just after noon about a possible shooting and a man chasing another man down the street with a gun. When the police arrived on North F Street, they searched for a suspect, and no gun was found. Cops did learn a 46 year old local man had been using fireworks and issued him a citation for using fireworks in a reckless manner.
