This week is public health week and the Grays Harbor Public Health department is putting its support behind efforts to keep a reliable public health workforce in the state through incentives for recruitment and retention including loan repayment, transfer of benefits, and grants for public health education.  The County health department is also passing along a Food Safety Alert: The CDC is investigating a norovirus outbreak linked to raw oysters from Canada. Restaurants and retailers should not sell the potentially contaminated raw oysters from certain sources.
