WSDOT Asking For Public Input On Joining National Electric Vehicle Charging Network

The state needs to submit a plan by August 1st.

WSDOT is asking for public input on joining a national electric vehicle charging network along major transportation corridors.  The state transportation department is expecting to receive around 71-million-dollars in federal funds to develop an electric vehicle charging infrastructure. However, before receiving the funds, the state needs to submit a plan by August 1st.  The funds would come through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act over the next five years with Washington getting $10.5 million in the first year.  an interactive map to suggest EV charging station location and a survey can be found at our website.
