More Information (Go Grays Harbor is not responsible for external websites)

Once a year, Glacial Heritage Preserve is open to the public. The 700 + acres is home to numerous species of wildlife, some of which are threatened or endangered. A 4 mile walking trail allows visitors the opportunity to see different habitats. AND - between 20 and 25 activity/educational booths that focus on components of the prairie: butterflies, birds, bats, geology; a hayride around the prairie; an early morning bird walk (typically 70 species are logged). While the event is suitable for all ages, the terrain is very uneven and is not handicapped accessible.
