The county fire marshal’s office says campfires on private land or in designated campgrounds are permitted with specified rules.

A reminder that the Grays Harbor County burn ban has not been lifted but some restrictions have been lessened. The county fire marshal’s office says campfires on private land or in designated campgrounds are permitted with specified rules. There is still no yard waste or land clearing burning allowed. Also each city may have modifications to the ban that works best for their safety protocols. Make sure you know the rules in the area you are in concerning campfires and burn restrictions.
