Grays Harbor County is gearing up to help residents prepare for emergencies with free Public Health Emergency Preparedness events throughout January. Held at Timberland Libraries across the county, the sessions will offer guidance on handling disasters like earthquakes and flooding, as well as health screenings for blood pressure and A1C levels. Events will run on Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the first stop next week in Montesano.
