Grays Harbor Will Get Some Funding For Water Quality Improvement Projects

To help restore ecological function on part of the Satsop river.

Grays Harbor will get a portion of the over $600,000 in grants distributed by the Washington Department of Ecology for water quality improvement projects. Starting June 1st, the Grays Harbor Conservation District will receive $50,000, which will be funded by the Terry Husseman Account that was established to help local governments pay for environmental projects.  The money will go to help restore ecological function on part of the Satsop river by planting trees and shrubs.
