Mail In Ballots Still Being Counted For Primary Election

There have been about 200 votes come in, but mathematically it’s not likely to change the winners.

So far no changes have been made to the primary election results from last Tuesday.  Mail in ballots are still being counted but so far, for the congressional district 3 seat currently held by Jamie Herrera Beutler, Joe Kent is gaining with just over 21 percent of the votes, to Buetler’s 23 percent of the vote.  Meanwhile the challenger for Grays Harbor Commissioner Vickie Raines is still Lisa Zaborac. There have been about 200 votes come in, but mathematically it’s not likely to change the winners.  Ballots will continue to be counted and no results are official until they are certified on August 16th.
