A brush fire that was first reported yesterday morning in Mason County was still burning as of the final
update from last night. The fire started in the foothills near the west side of lake Cushman or High steel
bridge area. The DNR sent in extra engines and at least one helicopter. The last resort before 8pm, said
that the helicopter had to pack it in after sundown. The fire was still burning and had spread to an
