The failure yesterday was caused by human error at the State Alert and Warning Center.

The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency is addressing the failure of the AHAB siren test scheduled for yesterday. The failure yesterday was caused by human error at the State Alert and Warning Center located in the State EOC at Camp Murray. Officials say Once the nature of the error was identified, processes were put in place to keep the error from happening again.
