Salmonella Outbreak Linked To Jif Peanut Butter Is Over

21 people from 17 states including here in Washington got sick.

The CDC is advising Washington residents that a salmonella outbreak that was linked to Jif peanut butter is over. 21 people from 17 states including here in Washington got sick. Recalled peanut butter and foods made with recalled peanut butter should no longer be in stores, but peanut butter has a long shelf life and could still be in your home. Many types and sizes of the peanut butter were recalled as were other foods like snack trays. You can check the “lot number” of any product in question with the recalled numbers through the CDC’s link at our website.
