Yesterday the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife shellfish managers confirmed the first round of razor clam digging opportunities at Long Beach, Twin Harbors, and Copalis.

Yesterday the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife shellfish managers confirmed the first round
of razor clam digging opportunities at Long Beach, Twin Harbors, and Copalis started last night. Officials
said after taking a short pause to allow for more marine toxin testing, they are reporting that razor
clams on these beaches are safe to eat. State officials will continue to monitor the situation prior to all
future planned openings. The first round of digs continues tonight for Long Beach and Twin Harbors and
then tomorrow night for Long Beach, Twin Harbors, and Copalis.
