A routine patrol in Aberdeen led to a high-speed chase and a major drug bust. This past weekend officers attempted to stop a speeding vehicle on North F Street, but the driver fled, eventually abandoning the car and running on foot. The suspect, a 49-year-old Aberdeen man, was quickly found hiding nearby and taken into custody with fentanyl in his possession. After obtaining a search warrant, officers seized 340.2 grams of fentanyl and 98.4 grams of heroin from his vehicle, leading to multiple charges, including drug trafficking and evading police.
