They came on a wreck and leapt into action.
Five Soldiers from the US Army were presented with The life Saving Award by Washington State Patrol this week for helping to rescue a woman after a car fire in Grays Harbor last year. The men were traveling on highway 101 back on September 16th when they saw the wreckage of a head on collision with one car on fire. Those soldiers put out the fire and helped a seriously injured woman until life flight arrived. The woman, Montana Driver, could not attend yesterday’s ceremony but made a video there she thanked the soldiers saying, “You are my heroes and without you I surely believe I would not be here today.”
