The new lab equipment will help in the processing of nearly 500 patient tests per day.
Summit Pacific in Grays Harbor has recently expanded its laboratory and added a new CT Scanner for
better, and faster patient care. The new lab equipment will help in the processing of nearly 500 patient
tests per day. The new CT Scanner is improving both the speed and accuracy of imaging results.
Patients and physicians will now have access to crisper, more detailed images of the head or body in
seconds. The advanced diagnostic CT Scanners can detect a wide range of life-threatening illnesses such
as heart disease, cancer, stroke, lung disease and more. The funding was largely provided through a
Murdock Grant with some costs of construction provided by Summit Pacific Medical Foundation.
