The mother of a missing Oakville girl faces 15 years behind bars for identity theft. Jordan Bowers made a court appearance via zoom from the county jail this week to hear the charges against her. Bowers faces three counts of first-degree identity theft and one count of second-degree identity theft. Prosecutors say Bowers began committing fraud back in 2020, adding that these charges have nothing to do with Bowers’ missing 5 year old daughter. Oakley Carlson has been missing since 2021 and to date, her parents have not helped police in finding their missing child.
